I think of myself as a school student leasing a home with three folks who make an attempt to keep our thermostat low to help with costs. I acquired this heater because my room has a door that leads right out to the snowy freezing rear yard and has a little crack letting the cold in. This heater heats my room up like a sauna when it’s on high, often I need to waken at night to switch it off because I start sweating! I usually keep it on with it’s different settings and I will sit anywhere in my room in a tank top and shorts and be warm. It is amazing and I am purchasing another one as a gift for my father for Christmas!

This is too potent for a bedroom unless you live in Canada and have useless insulation. Is acceptable or heating a huge living room / kitchen. Superb quality for the money. Potent simple to regulate heater with good thermostat / remote controls.

Actually satisfied I acquired this. No issues with rope which appears to have once been sized correctly and isn’t ‘hot ‘ as folk report. Lasko appears to have the highest quality and engineering for the money. Shame they’re not making their fans / heaters in the States any longer. Purchase it you won’t be sorry about it. I have had this heater ( or the prior version ) for over 2 years. I employ it for supplemental heat in my bedroom, which is required when we turn the thermostat down for the entire house. The bedroom is about two hundred and fifty sq feet. I’ve had no issues with it. It warms the room so much I frequently need to turn it down or off. I kind of never hear it ( just hardly when it’s on high ).

The remote is great and enables you to use all of the functions without going over to the heater. I have not begun to change the batteries. The oscilation function helps keep the heat flowing uniformly across the room. I strongly recommend this unit.

Great Space heater – needs no-heat option

I was so happy to buy this and give it a try. At first it was purchased for keeping the room additional warm after taking our newly born out of the baby bath in the winter while dressing him.

We also ended up using this while watching Television . We ended up purchasing 2 extra ones so everybody in our place has one. This is a great buy if your looking to heat your living space or bedroom. Unsure how much electricity it uses, but failed to notice much of an increase after using this a pair times per week.

Only thing I wish to change is this product has not got a fan single option. It generates heat, and even on it’s lowest heat setting it might be hard to chill you off if the room gets hot.
